Scribes & Vibes is a community-centric bookstore and local arts agency. In essence, we curate a beautiful blend of poetry, music, art, books, and open mic.
Our aim is to champion the arts, propel positive recreation, and represent intelligent living. We're here to spread peace, love, and positive vibes in efforts to help the marginalized find their tribe.

The Art of Rejuvenating The World's Number One Coffeehouse
Scribes & Vibes premiered on Saturday, March 14, 2009 as a co-branding, monthly sales promotion held at Starbucks Conyers. We positioned the arts to create a notable Starbucks Experience and to generate traffic and raise comp store sales at Starbucks Store 12790; located at 1515 Highway 138 SE in Conyers, GA.
Scribes & Vibes at Starbucks Conyers ran from March 14, 2009 through March 10, 2012. On Saturday, September 12, 2019, we revisited our brew of the arts for a grand re-opening celebration. Currently, our signature blend of the arts is held at Starbucks on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Subscribe to our newsletter to get a taste of coffeehouse culture and explore the local arts scene.
THE REBIRTH OF THE COOL
The Art of Reinforcing The Library As A Community Locale
By popular demand, Scribes & Vibes [stlylized without the ampersand on DeKalb County Public Library's Calendar of Events, to align with the DCPL Style Manual] was revived as Scribes and Vibes on Saturday, November 8, 2014 as a co-branding, monthly special event slash library sponsored program held at Stonecrest Library. We positioned the arts to draw attention to DeKalb County Public Library and to generate traffic and circulation at the Stonecrest Branch; located at 3123 Klondike Road in Lithonia, GA [currently, Stonecrest, GA].
Scribes and Vibes at Stonecrest Library ran from November 8, 2014 through January 14, 2017. In 2020, we will continue to Speak Out for Libraries through The Scribes & Vibes LIBRARY OUT LOUD Tour. Subscribe to our newsletter to experience the library and get acquainted with free family fun.
THE COOL REVISITED
The Art of Expressing Sentiments of Sankofa
In celebration of the Grand Re-Opening of Starbucks Conyers, Scribes & Vibes was reintroduced on Saturday, September 14, 2019 as a co-branding, monthly sales promotion. We’re currently positioning our brew of the arts to create a notable Starbucks Experience and generate traffic and raise comp store sales on 2nd Saturdays at Starbucks Store 12790; located at 1515 Highway 138 SE in Conyers, GA.
Looking back at the community’s appreciation and support of the family-friendly atmosphere of Scribes & Vibes at Starbucks Conyers, it was deemed only fitting to revive our signature pop-up storytime program in efforts to meet the growing demand for an additional coffee shop date. In collaboration with our favorite Librarians and Musicians, Rhythm & Rhymes Storytime premiered on Saturday, January 25, 2020 as a co-branding, monthly sales promotion and pop-up bookshop.

Books come in all colors at Scribes & Vibes, because representation matters. The Scribes & Vibes ™ Adopt-A-Book Program fosters parent and child bonding through reading and the charitable contribution of books provided by concerned citizens.
Your contribution to the Adopt-A-Book Program will help support our upcoming Storytime at Starbucks Series by allowing us to establish a pop-up library for early learners to receive a FREE children’s book each month.
